Make Your Own Gin

YOUR BESPOKE GIN, CREATED IN THE HEART OF MANCHESTER

Our Make Your Own Gin service has been developed with the expertise of our award-winning distillery team, to allow you to create your own unique bottle of Manchester Gin, which will be #ActuallyMadeIn Manchester.

Follow the steps below to create your one-of-a-kind recipe, which will then be crafted by our Distillery Team on one of our traditional copper pot stills at our distillery in the heart of Manchester. Your gin will then be hand labelled by our team with your unique recipe handwritten on the back, and delivered to your door.

All you need to do now is choose your strength of flavours, gin style and botanicals, and of course give your gin a name, and we will do the rest!

MAKE YOUR OWN GIN

The recognisable and defining flavour of gin, how prominent would you like this to be?

The flavours that will make your gin unique, how intense would you like these to be?

What flavour profile would you like your gin to have? Select one of the categories below to display a choice of harmonious botanicals.

Aromatic Style

Aromatic botanicals can create a heady, warming spice by combining botanicals such as Cinnamon or Clove with Thyme and Black Pepper. Or you can opt for a lighter, more fresh spicing by using botanicals such as Cardamom, Nutmeg, Rose and Lemon.

Citrus Style

The freshest and zingiest of the bunch, these botanicals will create a lively fresh gin, packed full of clean and crisp flavours. Why not try pairing lemon with savoury for a classic mediterranean feel, or grapefruit, cassia and hibiscus for a fruitier citrus gin.

Floral Style

Floral botanicals can create delicately soft and elegant gins, whether that’s for a quintessential English garden feel by combining Elderflower, Lavender and Lemon, or a more perfumed combination of Rose, Hibiscus and Cardamom.

Herbaceous Style

If you like a more savoury, dry gin, then this is the option for you. Whether you want a gin that would be great in a martini using botanicals such as Thyme, Lemon and Pink Peppercorn, or something a little more robust using Rosemary, Sage and Orange, there will be a combination for you.

Fragrant Style

Flavours of the east combine to create lively, spiced gins in this category. Try combining Lemongrass, Kaffir and Coconut for a classic Thai inspired flavour, or Ginger, Cardamom and Szechuan Pepper for a warmer bolder drink.

Leading Botanicals

Choose up to 2 botanicals to be the main flavours of your gin.
