From our dining-room passion project to a powerhouse of craft distilling, we’ve grown into the beating heart of spirits production in Manchester. Bold, creative, and independent, we craft award-winning gin, rum, vodka, whisky and more. All from our beautiful, historical arches in the city centre.

The Spirit of Manchester Distillery moves to Temperance Street - Temperance ironically means ”abstinence from alcohol”

Planning permission is granted for the restoration of six Grade-II* listed railway arches Describe a key feature in detail.

The Spirit of Manchester Distillery opens, with a distilling capacity of 1 million bottles a year.

Three Little Words Cocktail Bar & Restaurant opens to the public.

Sphere Vodka launches.

Production of hand sanitiser for NHS Nightingale and other frontline & NHS trusts in COVID-19 response

Launch of One-Eyed Rebel which immediately won a Gold at the Rum Masters and at the World Rum Awards.

We expand again... opening our own storage and bottling facility, affectionally named 'The Vault'.

Installation of our whisky equipment begins, four 2000-litre stainless steel fermenters and our 750-litre custom-made copper pot still ‘Leo’.

After months of development, we fill our first cask of One Point Six Whisky.

2025

After 3 years of maturation, our first casks of One Point Six officially become whisky.
