Manchester Gin Signature – The Perfect Serve

Manchester Gin Signature – The one that started it all! Our first and favourite (if we had to choose) gin.

It’s also our most awarded, which we believe is down to the fact that our Founders, Seb & Jen, created it as their ‘perfect gin’. When they began distilling from their dining room in 2015, they trialled numerous different recipes until they found the perfect combination of botanicals for their Signature Gin recipe.

Manchester Gin launched in 2016, with ‘Signature’ hitting the shelves in May. You could say things got off to a good start as by 2017 demand was such that they were making 25,000 bottles from that same dining room.

Today, we still use the very same recipe developed by Seb & Jen from their dining room table all those year ago. Signature uses 12 botanicals, two of which are our dearly beloved dandelion and burdock roots. Jen grew up drinking D&B with her Friday chippy tea, and it holds a special place in her heart, and now in our gins too. Dandelion and burdock roots give Signature a beautiful earthiness and depth of flavour, which is complemented with fresh citrus notes and creamy almond.
