It's Negroni Week! From 19-22nd September we will be celebrating this famous classic by sharing recipes & facts all week, as well as running a £5 Manchester Gin Negroni menu @threelittlewordsmcr 🥃🍊⁠

The Negroni was invented at Caffe Casoni in Florence, Italy in 1919. The story goes that Count Camillo Negroni asked his friend, bartender Forsco Scarselli, to strengthen his favourite cocktail – the Americano – by replacing the soda water with gin. Scarselli added an orange slice as garnish, rather than the usual lemon twist, and thus, the Negroni was born.⁠

This week’s 5-minute cocktail is a sparkling French 76! 🍋🥂

Ingredients: 30ml Sphere @Spherevodka Classic, 15ml Fresh Lemon Juice, 10ml Sugar Syrup, topped with Champagne or Sparkling Wine 🍾

Recipe: Add vodka, lemon juice, and sugar syrup to a shaker with ice. Shake well and strain into a flute. Top with champagne or sparkling wine and garnish with a lemon twist for that extra flair! 🍋✨
